Club Night

Our skills nights are run inconjunction with Saints Swim Club. These have proven to be an extremlely popular as the format allows an opportunity for young swimmers to meet and learn from the older squad competitors.

What happens ?  We kick off at 5.15pm by dividing all the nominated swimmers into groups. Each group has 2 or more senior swimmers who run them through skill exercises relevant to the events they will be doing that club night.  During this time a coach will run through how the night runs, explanation about the skills the children are learning, then ask for parents to help with the various jobs in running the club night; timekeepers, recorders, marshalling, starter, certificates, bbq.

Races kick off 6pm and normally only take an hour. Once the swimmers and parents have grabbed something to eat we present the certificates with their results. Swimmers enjoy  playing around in the pool after and we wrap up around 7.30pm.

How to nominate & pay? We just need the ful name of those participating and age. If you are a registered Saints Swim Club member its' s free and for non-members it's $5 which goes to the club which assists travel and athlete development. Cash can be paid on the night or at the swim school office prior.
